MVY Travel Basketball LLC is not a 501c3. The annual tax filing fees are too expensive for the amount of money our kids raise. Please note, donations are not tax deductible.

Eligibility Requirements
Player eligibility for the Cape Cod Youth Basketball League (Boys) & Old Colony League (Girls) is determined by school grade and age. Both leagues support Grades 4 - 8.​​

Players may play up a grade, or more, but no player may play down a grade, regardless of age. All players must attend grade school on the Island.

Registration
Registration for the 2025 - 2026 season is closed - please see "Player Evaluations" section of this site for next season's update.
Player Registration Fees

We understand that living on the Island can be financially challenging. Player registration fees range annually from $350 - $450. This includes uniforms which are turned in at the end of the season and a personalized shooting shirt and sweatshirt players can keep. Parents and players are responsible for all travel related expenses.

Travel Team Commitment
Martha's Vineyard Travel Basketball Teams practice at least twice each week November through February with additional opportunities for scrimmages and other team activities possible (Barnstable Tournament in March). League games are held on the Island & the Cape on Saturdays and / or Sundays. There are typically two games each weekend during the season and every effort is made to schedule these games on the same day. The season concludes with the league tournament, but many teams participate in other post-season tournaments depending on age.

Practices that fall on holidays or school break are determined based on gym time availability and are at each coach's discretion.
